Gutter Repair in Houston

Gutters only matter when it rains. Then they matter a lot. If yours are leaking, sagging, or dumping water in the wrong place, we'll get them working again. Serving Houston and surrounding areas.

Your Gutters Have One Job

Catch the water coming off your roof and carry it away from your house.

That sounds simple, and it is. But a lot rides on it. Houston gets heavy rain, and a roof sheds a serious amount of water in a short storm. All of that has to go somewhere.

When your gutters are doing their job, that water runs to the downspouts and out away from your home. When they're not, it spills over the edge and lands right against your house.

That's where problems start. Water pooling by the foundation. Soil washing out of the flower beds. Splashing against siding and trim. Water running down behind the gutter instead of through it.

None of that happens overnight. It builds up over seasons, which is exactly why people don't catch it early.

What Usually Goes Wrong

Leaking gutters.

Seams separate and joints open up over time. You'll see water dripping through in a steady line.

Loose gutters.

The fasteners holding the gutter to your home work their way out. The gutter starts pulling away from the fascia.

Sagging gutters.

A section dips in the middle. Water pools there instead of running to the downspout, and the added weight makes the sag worse.

Damaged sections.

A ladder, a falling branch, or a hard storm can dent, crack, or tear a run of gutter.

Downspout problems.

Downspouts come loose, get crushed, or clog up. Sometimes they drain water right next to the foundation.

Signs You Need Gutter Repair

While it's raining

  • Water spilling over the edge instead of flowing to the downspout
  • A steady drip coming from a seam or joint
  • Water running down behind the gutter, against your siding
  • A downspout that's barely putting out water

When it's dry

  • Gutters that visibly sag or dip in the middle
  • Sections pulling away from the roofline
  • Rust, cracks, or holes
  • Peeling paint or water stains on the siding below
  • Dirt trenches or eroded soil below the gutter line
  • Standing water or soft ground near the foundation after a storm

One or two of these is worth a look. Several together usually means it's been going on a while.

Where the Water Ends Up Matters

Here's something a lot of homeowners miss. Your gutters can be in perfect shape and still be causing a problem.

If the downspout dumps water two feet from your foundation, that water has nowhere to go but down into the soil beside your house. Every storm, over and over.

So we don't just look at the gutter itself. We look at where the water actually lands.

Sometimes the fix is simple. Extend the downspout. Redirect it. Correct the slope so water moves the way it's supposed to. Small adjustments that change where hundreds of gallons end up during a heavy rain.

It's not the exciting part of the job. It's usually the part that matters most.
